HINDI FORTNIGHT HELD
AT HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED,
IRUGUR INSTALLATION
Hindi Fortnight held at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Irugur Installation from 12-09-2008 to 26-09-2008. Quiz competition and Reading competition were held where all the employees actively participated. More than competition, involvement of all the employees was evident from the activities. Prize distribution ceremony was held on 23-09-2008, Tuesday. Manager Installation Shri K. Ethirajan presided over the function.
Shri K. S. Baiju, Hindi Coordinator welcomed all the employees and spoke on the importance of Hindi as our National Language. Shri K. Ethirajan, Manager Installation addressed the gathering and spoke on the importance of learning Hindi and practical problems faced by the employees one who does not know Hindi and work in other installations outside state. Shri S. Venkatesh Kumar, Depot Manager addressed the employees on the occasion and gave beautiful practical tips to learn Hindi. Many of the employees entertained the gathering with their sweet voice by singing latest and melodious Hindi songs. Prizes were distributed by Manager Installation Shri K . Ethirajan to the winners in Hindi competitions. Token prizes were also distributed to all the participants.
